At the heart of Miami Gardens stands the city’s signature archway—an unmistakable landmark and a symbol of its strength and unity. That same arch now takes center stage on the newly designed badge for the Miami Gardens Police Department, framed in a two-tone finish that highlights the city’s distinct character.

This badge tells a story. Beneath Miami Gardens’ City Hall and Public Safety Building, a flowing green enamel accent brings a pop of Florida color, adding vibrancy to the design. Carefully crafted in collaboration with their team, every detail was considered—from the traditional oval shape to the panel structure to the landmarks that symbolize so much—making this badge unique.

A few badges include a single applied star above the arch, an honor reserved for the original 150 officers who founded the department in 2007—a lasting tribute to their role in shaping Miami Gardens PD.

It’s always more than a badge. It reflects the city, the department, and the officers who wear it with pride.
